Alex Montero – Vice President & Agent

Alex loves to cook – even more so he loves to visit local breweries and restaurants. After a decade as an insurance agent he decided to merge his business with his passion and Insure My Eatery was born.

Alex became a licensed agent in 2008 after a family friend convinced him he would make a good agent. He spent several years at State Farm in Arizona and then a few in Hawaii where he helped run one of the most successful offices in the state. He moved back to Arizona in 2014 to focus exclusively on business insurance and became an Independent Agent where he helped countless business owners with their insurance needs. During this time, he began to gravitate toward a niche community in need of his services and started to focus his efforts on the restaurant and bar industry. In 2018 he partnered with Robertson Ryan Insurance as an Agent Owner.

In 2021, he moved to Fort Collins, Colorado with his Fiancé. In his free time, you can find him at a local restaurant or in the kitchen trying to recreate his favorite chef’s dishes. He also enjoys golfing, woodworking, and camping or hiking with his dogs Ellie and Frank.

Alex is dedicated to his local restaurant community and sits on the board of the Colorado Restaurant Associations’ Northern Colorado chapter.

Matt Frank – Vice President & Agent

Matt graduated from Marquette University in 2011 with a degree in Finance. He started his insurance career by joining Liberty Mutual Insurance, where he worked as a property and casualty underwriter for five years. In 2013, Matt achieved the designation of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU). While at Liberty Mutual, he gained extensive knowledge and experience that has allowed him to excel as an insurance advisor.

In 2016, he joined Robertson Ryan Insurance, following in his father’s footsteps. As an associate at Robertson Ryan, the largest independent insurance agency in Wisconsin, Matt has the resources available to handle both standard and non-standard policies. One of Matt’s main goals as an insurance advisor is to make the insurance process as seamless and painless as possible for his customers so that they can spend their time and energy where it matters most: with their families and on their businesses.

During his spare time, Matt loves to explore the outdoors. Whether he is hiking into the Grand Canyon or hunting in Wisconsin, he is happy to spend his time outside.
